What does the PAC do?
The Sherwood Park PAC is primarily concerned with fundraising to enrich the school experience for the students through special presentations, extracurricular activities, equipment improvements, new opportunities, and fun events for the whole family. Have a look at some of our accomplishments here.
We also: - Bring in speakers of interest for parents. - Liaise with school administration and teachers on behalf of parents. Each class has a PAC representative, the “Class Rep”, to keep parents involved and to share information – concerns, ideas, or issues – between parents and administration. - Volunteer to help in and around our school to organize and run special events, support school activities, engage the school community... the list is endless! To work to accomplish these lofty goals, the PAC fundraises and then decides how best to spend the funds raised. All the work we do is accomplished through the hard work and dedication of parent volunteers. We always need more volunteers for big and small jobs. Read on... What can I do?
