PAC is pleased to inform you that we are offering some great Community Programs for Term 1 of the 2019-2020 school year. All activities are funded by participants and there is limited capacity. All activities are held in the School Gym or Multi-Purpose Room.

Grades: K – Grade 3 (Girls Only) Dates: October 7– November 25 Tuesdays 3:00 – 4:15pm Cost $197 for 8 Sessions Location: Multipurpose Room and Outside Extra: The Girls will be doing the MoMiler on November 24th in Vancouver which has a 1mile or 5km option.

Little Soles is a fun program that combines empowering games, discussion and mentorship to build confidence! Girls learn life skills, confidence, being responsible and being healthy in a safe and interactive environment. They will also learn how to be a positive peer, make new friends and goal set as part of an active lifestyle. Register for Little Soles and see a positive change and transformation in your girl!

Girls will meet once a week for nine weeks at Sherwood Park Elementary in Multipurpose Room. During the program, girls will mentally and physically prepare to run a Big Final fun run at the end of the season. (run registration not included)

Through painting, drawing and mixed media, students will learn a variety of studio-based visual art practices and techniques from a professional artist. Students will be encouraged to express themselves creatively and learn about art making as a process through different projects, mediums and methods. Fundamentals like the principles and elements of art will be covered.
8 sessions | Grades: 3-7 | October 10 – November 28 Thursdays | 3:00-5:00pm Instructor: TBA Location: Sherwood Park Multi-Purpose Room $160.00
Drama 1001 investigates the fundamentals of acting and improv. Starting with a foundation of focus-building, listening, and observation exercises, this course will progress towards advanced creative and collaborative exercises with presentations to the group. Students explore different forms of storytelling through expressive movement and dance, short improvised and semi-improvised scenes, verbal narration, or spoken word poetry. Skills of public presentation, and the principles of theatre performance are mastered alongside the principles of audience etiquette (respect, active listening). The importance of teamwork and adaptability is emphasized through group exercises and performance.
